Overview

The Marathi Vigyan Parishad has always been at the forefront of making many Marathi students living in rural areas of Maharashtra science-oriented and this is a movement to spread science in order to inculcate a scientific attitude in the students. Marathi Vigyan Parishad, Warora Department is active in this work and organizes various science related programs for the students of the college as well as Warora area to become science oriented.

  • An online science questionnaire was organized for the students of secondary schools in Warora taluka on 22nd December 2020. Also online certificates were given to the pass students. A total of 245 students from most of the schools participated in this activity.
  • Video clips / videos of science experiments were made by senior college students through Marathi Vigyan Parishad. Using that video, online “Apoorva Vigyan Melava” was organized in January / February 2021 in Karmaveer Vidyalaya Warora, Saraswati Vidyalaya Salori, Chhatrapati Shivaji Vidyalaya Khambada and Karmaveer Vidyalaya Gavarala Ta-Bhadravati. Students actively participated in this activity.
  • On an online quiz based on Science Day was organized on 28th February 2021 on the occasion of National Science Day. Students of school, junior and senior colleges in the taluka gave overwhelming response in this quiz. 602 school and college students participated in this activity.
  • Mr. Amrit Deshmukh’s lecture on the mission of Make India Read was organized for the students on 1st October 2019 in the auditorium of Anand Niketan College.
  • On 03rd December 2019, Mr. Agarkar Sir gave in-depth guidance to the students on the subject of Chemistry Periodic Table.
  • Research and Information Competition” was organized to comment on your favorite researcher under the theme “Relationship to Science”
  • Anand Niketan College through Marathi Vigyan Parishad in January 2019. Mr. Abhay Deshpande, Honorary Coordinator, gave an interesting lecture on “The scope of the universe – from the particle to the earth”.
  • Hon. Mr. Agarkar and Hon. Mr. Mhatre [MVP] demonstrated science to students through experiments. The action science workshop was well received by the students.
  • Two plays were presented by Warora Division in the Natya Sammelan organized by Marathi Vigyan Parishad Mumbai on 8th October 2018 at Annasaheb Somalwar Hall, Nagpur. The play won the second prize from the open group.
  • Shri Chandrakant Patil received an incentive award for his presentation of Natyasamhita written on Karmayogi Baba Amte.
  • Through Marathi Vigyan Parishad , scientific rangoli competitions as well as art creation competitions from waste materials were organized in February 2017.
  • The best response from the students was in the district level essay competition organized by Marathi Vigyan Parishad.
  • How to prepare for the competitive exam? For this, a workshop was organized in the college.
  • A lecture was organized at Lokmanya vidyalaya warora on the importance of research.
