Library
- College Library is regularly functioning since the college established on 20th June, 1964 and rendering efficient and effective library services to users’ community. Total numbers of users are about 3000 which include Students, Researchers, Staff members and external readers are using the library regularly.
- Independent and well equipped library building having various sections (Total Carpet Area about 5875 Sq.Feet) with seating capacity of 160 users in reading room and reference section.
- Presently College library having the collection of 56138 Books, 47 Journals and Periodicals with 15 daily Newspapers and other reading material.
- Availability of leading and classic reference and information sources with bound volumes of Journals and Periodicals. Sufficient number of text, reference and general books are available for the use of student, staff and other users of library. Good collection of Competitive examination books is available.
- Qualified and experienced Library Staff is managing library smoothly and providing efficient library services to the students, researchers, staff members and external users of the library.
- Number of Users Oriented and Prominent Library and Information Services with facility of External Membership to PG Students, Researcher and Students preparing for Competitive Exams.
- Free Internet facility with N-List programme of INFLIBNET in which e-access is available to more than 6000+ Journals and 199500+ books under N-LIST and 600000+ e-books through NDL.
- Library Collection is organised properly according to 19th edition of Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Scheme. Library is partially automated with Library Management Software (LMS) of Biyani Technologies, Kolhapur.
- Library has developed the special collection on Personality Development, Career Guidance, Women Studies, Tribal Studies, Science Literature in Marathi and Competitive Exam Books.
- Library organising various Extension Activities like Book Exhibition, Marathi Readers Contest, Librarians Day, Reading Inspiration Day, World Book Day Celebration etc. for inculcating reading habits among the students community and the overall development of reading culture.
